Ex Wallaby Day 7 - Hectic Ler!!

Today is a 1x hectic day. This morning while was on shift was actually waiting for it to be over as Ivan woke us up 1hr earlier to take over his shift due to the false alarm of moving out at 4am - where got, bluff me. But 人算不如天算 1 hour before my shift actually ends, the Brigade suddenly had an airstrike exercise and required us to "evacuate" from the deployment ground - like wth early morning you do this type of thing... every single mother father's son left the B-TOC and equipment and mounted the vehicle. i mounted a 3 tonner to some place -i dunno where again.
then went back to the B-TOC site by the same tonner to actually pick up the stuff we left behind but left again, this time on a rover which i was in this super awkward position of sitting sideways - i still dunno where i am, and i think there too much petrol.. travel here and there.. boliao...

Then from that location, i mounted a bronco - finally in 7 days i get to travel in a bronco.. and as i cannot find my helmet - its buried in the pile of fieldpacks and other stuff infront of me, i wore a CVC -dunno what i means but it was a helmet with Communications system - recall on day 4 i said the vehicle commander was wearing one.. its the same one. You can actually hear people comms on the helmet. But the helmet was bad.. i gave me a headache for nearly 3hours due to the lack of blood flow to the head as it was very very tight. So for the rest of the day untill 10pm i was or rather we were travelling in the bronco. During this time we stopped at some stops to rest and eat. and we managed to stop at this area called Wadallah.

Wadallah is actually a creek under australia nation protection as "near pristine" natural reserve and at the place we stopped at, there is a monument call the Wadallah rock which was saif by WO Chin to be the monument of the site. the scenery at the Wadallah stop point is just gorgeous, its just picturesque.. so oil painting lah.

Actually travelling in the bronco is fun.. its like roller coaster. But it is not fun when it is leaking as it was raining the whole day. Now i am deployed in the new deployment site of the B-TOC. the good news is it was rumoured that we are moving out. The exercise officially cuts on the 9th by noon. looking forward to that day!

2more day..hold on!!
picture of he day.. me trying to eat the Wadallah rock instead of my combat rations (see my hand)
