AIT Day 1

Todays marks the first day of AIT - Advance Infantry Training. After a 4KM tatical march to the training ground in our freaking big and heavy alice bag we commenced on weapons lessons. here are some of the funny things that happened today:

• during the anti tracing drill, when the last man suppose to hid last, Tian pei being the last man, hid first. its ok if he stayed that way, but he looked so garang when he proned next to me (i was the first man) as if he did nothing wrong... -we laughed our heads of after that

• During Smoke grenade throwing in sniper drill, Zhe bin was suppose to throw a smoke grenade to smoke out to cover out Gabriel (he was "shot") so we could run to drag him away.. Zhe bin's Smoke grenade flew so nicely it went over gabriel's head, hit on to a tree and fell on him.. the smoke grenade "smoked infront of him"- i was just telling gabriel if i was shot.. not to throw it at me..

Today is the first time i am throwing smoke grenade and setting up a trip flare.. - so fun. the Trip flare is blinding but its like fireworks.. so nice - hope i can do it again next time... RSM promised us that we will do claymore mine when Bravo troopers comes in.

Now i am on 1/3 alert from 10pm -11pm and 2am-4am. how to sleep like that.. by the time i finish my shift.. stand to liao.. tomorrow is the last day of field camp, ending at 12noon. going to do some missions tomorrow. hope it all goes well.

Anyway PC praised me i do proning very well!!! -haha
