Ex Wallaby Day 3 - The Prep

Today is the "second day" of Ex Wallaby. Theoretically second day as the first day was spent on the flight to Rockhampton. Nothing much was done today except a first hand experience on the Bronco, its really SANDY! Loaded all the stores required for the exercise into the Bronco in preparation for the moving out for mission 1 tomorrow. Besides preparing stores, nothing much was done again today. Went to the canteen in the evening and had a good meal before moving out as we will be moving out tomorrow and will be on combat rations for the whole of 7 days. Ordered cabana - some kind of chicken sausage from the canteen tonight.. its really good. will have somemore when the exercise ends in 7 days time when i come back..

Today Weikiat was totally white from moving all the stores as he was seated in the rear of the rover and as the rover moved along the sand track and stopes, all the sand flies - imagine covered by a cloud of smoke except this time its all sand.

I can't wait to go back to Singapore.
