The 24KM - The Last March

Today the main event and also the (supposed) last event of our BMT life the 24KM route march.. so basically we marched off at around 3pm from company line with the rest of the 4 company, namely bronco, cougar, falcon and jaguar. First stop Old SISPEC where we had our first break…from 4KM… basically every body was still alive when we meet here… but can see shagness because of the stupid sun.. then after resting for 30 minutes at sispec, we moved on the sunlong kong camp… for the next 4KM… super hot lor.... but when we are approaching the campsite, it started to drizzle a bit… but the route to the campsite was terrible… either it was very very rocky… or very very muddy… our black boot went in and came out like the pari of timber land I have (all covered in mud). Then we back tracked on the same route back to SISPEC… 12KM gone like this.. where we have our dinner there and rested for 1 hour.. me and amos was basically lying on the SISPEC square resting looking at the sunset…hahaha.. this maybe the last sunset we may see in tekong… -the tekong sunsets and sun rises are just spectacular… you never see it anywhere in Singapore before… really really very very nice… any way then we went to FIBUA village (urban warfare training ground) and then back to SISPEC then back to Company line.. for the last 12 KM, I was carrying the Platoon flag all the way and was walking right in from.. it was a very good experience.. as you can hear the platoon singing and also the encouragement…. Your platoon mates give each other…

By 11.30 PM we are at company line… at the company line we sang this song… probably the last time we sing it also:
