Day 05 - Slack Day

today went for the clinical trials... for the DSO labs..Today was a slack day.. Training cancelled due to Cat 1 in Tekong... so had alotof lectures today.. and during the aviva lecture... i was asked to do "honourable duties" for the OC.. at first i was wondering what we were suppose to do.. then we were told to push the trolley and bring our 11B to tekong ferry terminal...still dunno what happened... then we realised we are going back to singapore! to take stuff from the OC for an event tonight... when we reached SAFFT we saw OC and he led us to his car.. guess what he took out.. 5 box of sakae sushi!!! and sparkling juice and wine.. haha we are suppose to bring this back to tekong for him.. then wen we reached tekong.. he ask us to stay and help for the event.. then we only found out that it was a officers gathering at Scabbers Mess.. (officers lounge) we are suppose to stay there and become waiters for the night.. and our reward, treated with satay, sushi, sashimi and lontong... the 6 helping can't believe that this is happening and we told our self that this is the one and only time we are going to do this as scabbers mess is for officers (2nd Lt and above) even our sergent never went inside and eat before.. we recruits only came 5 days to tekong.. and we are eating there... MY GOD!!! but it was an once a life time experience..
