Day 00 - NS Freshie

Today is the my enlistment day. woke up at 10 am to go to the market to eat breakfast then enlist at 1.30pm, at pasir ris... at around 2pm... i already found myself on the fast craft towards tekong... feeling excited then.. when i reached tekong i was then seperated from my parents and was brought to then place where my pink IC was taken and changed in to the green 11B which is staying with me for the rest of my 2 years... we collected our welcome pack and also "dog tag" too then.. then we were brought to another place to reherse for the oath taking ceremony (which i find quite ridiculous) - so wayang... wayang for parents to see only... then we were given a slip... on the slip it is written the company i am in... i was posted to HAWK... - quite lucky i guess.. as hawk is not very siong... then after we are transported again to the auditorium where we took our oath and sell ourselves to mindef and listen to some talk in there.. after which went to eat the cook house food which taste terrible... then my parents were escorted away and i was escorted to the training shed near the ferry terminal... where we are seperated into different platoons.. after siting in the for like the longest time.. finally my name is called.. into platoon 4 Section 4 bed 2 my 4 digit number... 4402... then i was introduced to my platoon sergent. sergent taufiq.. and he brought us to collect our stuff.. which was like damn far away where we finally settled dwon in a training shed.. and pour every thing in our field pack and duffle bag out to check... and then we are scolded by our sergent..... haiz.. first day kena scolded... then were we brought back to our company block.. back to our bunks.. on the 5th floor.. we have to bring up all the stuff.. without taking the lift... so by the time i reached 5th floor.. i wanted to faint... out of breath... then went for admind stuff where we were introduce to 2nd Lt Ashley.. where every thing ended at like 2245 .. dont even have time to bath then we were forced to sleep.. - so dirty la... have to wake up for revalie tomorrow at 0615...
